Art. 80161 REICH High Performance Booster Pump

Installed as an auxiliary bilge pump to drain wastewater, a couple of weeks after being placed in the bilge, the fixed hose holders on both the suction and delivery sides, which are regularly connected to soft plastic pipes, broke. Bilge water, notoriously dirty, also carries oily residues and small amounts of diesel fuel from the auxiliary diesel engine. I am unable to assess whether the presence of these substances may have facilitated the breakage of the pipes attached to the pump body, which was no longer usable.
