Not a permanent solution
I bought this hand pump for my sailboat (Dufour 36) to empty the water tanks at the end of the season. It's well-suited for this purpose and does what it's supposed to.

However, when pumping out seawater after water ingress in the engine room, it revealed weaknesses in quality and workmanship.
