After 5 years of continuous use, a device from Vieren has given up the ghost. The others work flawlessly.rnOb's what good does not say so readily in ship batteries. The last batteries (set of 4 x 235 Ah) have turned five years old. Had not any fool pulled off the power plug over the winter, they would probably have gotten older.rnmfg

Verlassen Sie sich darauf, der Pulser ist nützlich, jedoch nur bei einer Sulfatierung. Andere Batterieschäden sind nicht reversibel.
Wir überprüfen in unserer Werkstatt die ein- oder andere sulfatierte Batterie, die mal eine Saison oder das anschließende Winterlager nicht gut überstanden hat, weil sie nicht richtig und nicht vollständig geladen wurde. Es ist messtechnisch nachvollziehbar, dass sich die Leistungsfähigkeit solch einer Batterie mittels Pulseranwendung wieder verbessert.
Was benötigen wir? Ein gutes Ladegerät, den Pulser, unseren Batterietester (Art. 88433) und Geduld. Je nach Batteriekapazität und Grad der Sulfatierung benötigt der Pulser dann einige Zeit. Wichtig dabei, vor jeder Messung muss die Elektro-Chemie der Batterie für 3-5 Stunden zur Ruhe gekommen sein, sonst gilt: wer misst misst Mist.

3 weeks trial then disconnected

connected to a set of 4 AGM service batteries which were starting to have difficulty recharging, although not very old.
After 3 weeks, I noticed no change in the behavior of the batteries.
So, I unplugged it, not knowing what its consumption is which is not indicated in the instructions which are otherwise very succinct.
It doesn't seem to be the "miracle product" that regenerates batteries.
Damage.
