I've used this gelcoat filler several times before.

Unfortunately, this container was completely hardened and therefore unusable. I only discovered this once I was on the boat. It was frustrating because the planned work on the boat was impossible, and a day's travel wasted.

Product with exceeded expiration date

Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with this resin. When I received it, the material was already two years old, even though the stated shelf life is only 12 months. Consequently, the resin had already hardened and was no longer usable.

Since I had no alternative available, I had to use it anyway. The result was poor, and I ended up having to discard everything. Very frustrating and definitely not recommended.

Color tone doesn't match at all

It really annoys me that when you order RAL 9010 pure white, you get a product that's anything but pure white. It's a grayish white. When you compare it with Yachticon, there's a significant color difference. I filed a complaint with Yachtcare directly, and they told me to recoat it with gelcoat. It's a good match and pure white, but it requires at least five coats to make the darker repair area invisible. What a shame...

Die Vermutung liegt nah, dass der Anwender das Produkt YC Gelcoat Spachtel verarbeitet hat, obwohl der Farbton nicht vollständig seinen Erwartungen entsprach. Grundsätzlich bestand vorab die Möglichkeit sich über den Produktfarbton durch das technische Produktblatt zu informieren. (Produkt Gelcoat Spachtel wird nicht im gewünschten 9010 Ral Ton angeboten)
Ein Alternativ Produkt passend zum gewünschten Farbton wird im Yachtcare Produkt Sortiment (Yachtcare Rep- Set Ral 9010) angeboten.
Um die nicht optimal farbliche Gestaltung der Reparatur zu verbessern, wurde dem Kunden eine Nachbehandlung mit einem hochwertigen Lack angeboten.

Bought in December, not opened. I was only able to process it now.
But the can was opened and the contents had already hardened to 0.5cm. Still soft under this layer.
I tried mixing it and working on a spot with it. Color after curing is not white but gray. I.e. mill it out again. Can't give a purchase recommendation.
