Class life jacket for fishing

I use the vest for fishing from a belly boat.
It sits close to the body and lies flat, so it doesn't bother me at all when fishing. I deliberately chose the manual version because the vest does come into contact with water when fishing from a belly boat.

Unfortunately it slips up ---- So not a full thumbs up for comfort!

The vest slides up too much when swimming.

It would be better if it could be held in the same position as when standing on land.

A strap between the legs would probably cause excessive chafing while swimming.

For somewhat overweight people, perhaps connecting it to an extra waist belt would be the solution?
