Perfect solution for a truly sealed propeller shaft.

I was completely fed up with the hassle of my constantly leaking propeller shaft seal with packing cord. This seemed like the perfect solution, and so far, I am very pleased with it. The installation was a bit trickier than I had anticipated, but that is mainly because the PSS seal on my boat ended up in a hard-to-reach spot, right between two floor hatches. As a result, the nipple could not be positioned straight up, and it was difficult to hold the stainless steel sealing ring in place during adjustment before it could be secured. The PSS seal has now been installed for a few weeks, and the first hundred nautical miles have been sailed. Not a drop of water is escaping anymore.

Quality product when compared with the old seal that lasted 15 years , I can expect reliability and peace of mind . The only problem was the ss ring running face was same diameter as the shaft so had to machine it . More of an issue from.my side . Deff buy again
