It does what it's supposed to.

The scraper works quite well for removing antifouling. You get used to the tool quickly; it doesn't require excessive pressure, but it can be tiring in the long run. The rounded blade is advantageous, as it prevents damage to the gelcoat. It took me about 5 hours to remove the antifouling from my 22-foot sailboat. However, subsequent sanding is essential, as removing the last bit with the scraper is very tedious. But with the prep work done by the scraper, the sanding is also quick and easy.
