I simply pushed the old, defective valves deeper into the fenders using a Phillips screwdriver, pushed in the new ones, pumped them up, and the fenders were sealed and ready to use again.

I've replaced this valve several times. It takes quite a bit of force to pull out the old valve. A piece of M3 threaded rod or a longer M3 screw with a sturdy handle on it to pull it out will do the trick. When pushing in the new valve, an M3 screw is also useful, but always with a stop, otherwise the valve will be pushed in too far. A little Vaseline on the new valve really helps.

I've replaced the valves on several Fenders. With each replacement, I was worried about breaking or bending the adapter. It's quite delicate, and it takes a bit more force, especially when ripping out the old valves. But in the end, all the valves were replaced and the adapter was still intact. So, full marks!

Poor durability - unusable after two years

Unfortunately I can't agree with the positive reviews. The valves on all eight fenders were either leaking or leaking while filling. Annoying business model when you have to buy new valves on a regular basis.
