Not a solid product

This Marco switch is not solid of construction. The switch (upper part) is attached to the mounting plate (lower part) with only a fragile plastic piece of plastic and consequently the switch easily slips out of the mounting plate which is screwed to your boat. When that happens the switch does not work anymore with all consequences.

Not recommended! Stay away from this switch.

There can be no talk of "heavy duty". More like a toy ... the connection between the socket and the switch is rubbish. At the slightest force, the switch is released from the foot. So hands off. SVB, as a specialist dealer, could look at the items before they go on sale. Returns are usually also excluded, as the articles are often not installed immediately.

Poor plastic foot base

Using this article to auto-switch the bilgepump. The foot base of the switch is a fragile piece of plastic, which does not hold the floater firmly. The only solution we could find was to glue the pieces together to obtain secure switching of the bilgepump.
