Areas are poorly or not mapped, errors, missing a few islands here and there, which make the reliability of the whole doubtful (can you believe the map if you sail at night for example?).

Kann ich noch nicht sagen, unser Plotter ist im Winterlager auf dem Boot. Mal sehen wie es dann in der Praxis aussieht, wenn wir die erste Fahrt machen.

Alles in allem OK, aber wenn man unterwegs eine NEUE Karte updaten möchte und gleich 2 GB an Daten aktualisiert werden müssen, ist das bei den in den Marinas vorhandenen WLAN-Bandbreiten und teilweise noch hohen Roaming-Kosten nicht akzeptabel.

Super - ich kenne das Produkt bereits von einem anderen Gerät. Toll ist die online update Funktion um die Karte aktuell zu halten.
Schön wäre, wenn die Karte ( Micro SD ) entsprechend beschriftet wäre.

Update with the chart installer not possible. American support is nice and helpful. However, the process is only possible via Teamviewer and access to your own PC. I will certainly not buy any more navionics charts for my plotter.

So it went on - a new AIS system had to be bought. AIS 700 . Programming this device is child's play. Immediate programming by SVB is not possible because there is a very long waiting list. In addition, the BOSS has forbidden programming on Mondays and Tuesdays. Internet and telephone service are announced here. So I drove back to Travemuende with a very easy to program AIS 700 transponder. I then tried to program the device for 2 days. Unfortunately in vain. So I drove back to Bremen with the device. This is definitely not service. (I've now driven 3 times from Bad Zwischenahn to Bremen to Travemuende. All in vain - a service man for electronic installations was also on site.
You can not only sell devices which then have no function without MMsi No.
You also have to provide a service, these devices were only allowed to leave your company after they had been programmed.

Unfortunately, I can't look at the maps on my computer because I don't have the supporting program and I can't load it because my computer doesn't allow the program. I think the delivered product with the attached USB stick is very good. However, an exact description in German should be included, as I am not fluent in English. So I can't do a full review yet. I won't be able to test the chart plotter with the card until the end of April.
