After many years, the original instruments on my Beneteau First 375 were finally reaching the end of their lifespan. The wind sensor was faulty, and the log was no longer providing reliable readings. Therefore, I opted for the Raymarine i70s system.

I was particularly impressed by the easy-to-read display, the simple operation, and the ability to clearly present wind, speed, and other navigation data. Replacing the components was straightforward, and integrating them into the existing system was uncomplicated.

Currently, the system is still running with my existing log sensor, as the new DST800 will be installed during the next crane appointment. However, the i70s display and the new wind sensor are already working perfectly and providing significantly more reliable readings than my old system.

For sailors who want to replace older instruments or modernize their boat, this system is, in my opinion, an excellent solution.
