Fitting the upper end caps was a bit tricky, and I had to cut the shroud covers in half along the bottom 30 cm to be able to slide them up to tension the shrouds. After fitting them, the 30 cm pieces of the shroud covers went back onto the shrouds, and I'm very happy with the result and hope they'll last a long time.

Platimo turnbuckle protector for 4-6 mm tubs Stage

My experience with the smaller version, for wire diameters of 4-6 mm, was that the protector was too small for the rigging screws, both in diameter and length. It wouldn't fit over them. The upper, slotted plastic cap definitely didn't fit my 5 mm wire; it was much too tight, not to mention the 6 mm wires.... With the 5 mm, the caps would have torn when bent open, so I returned everything and ordered the other two versions to try out and adjust. I'll reply to that later.
