In my opinion, these trousers have two flaws. First, it's impossible to relieve oneself without taking the trousers off. The inner bib is cut so high that you always have to take both suspenders off your shoulders to go. This is quite inconvenient in bad weather.

Second, the suspenders are quite wide at the shoulders, so if you're only wearing a T-shirt, the inner edges will chafe your neck over time. This negates any improvement in comfort. It's a shame, because otherwise they're actually good trousers.

Saved on the zipper

I have been wearing Gill sailing clothing for many years.
My current OS1 is from 2017 and is now showing heavy signs of wear.
That's why I wanted the new OS1 set.
But I was very surprised when I discovered that, unlike before, the new trousers no longer have a two-way zipper.
I've only ever seen something like that on cheap basic products.
No longer an easy way to quickly do your business fully clothed on deck in bad weather?
A no-go for me!
