Great that SV carries such a small stuff

It fits the pump and the old thing is working again. I had a new shaft lying around, but I can't remember where I got it from. Hopefully the ring springs are seawater resistant - we'll see.

The axial shaft seal was purchased because my new seawater pump started to leak after about 12 years. The boat is in the Mediterranean and a Volvo Penta MD 2040 diesel is installed. It remains to be seen whether the seal will live up to expectations.
