I am more than happy with the Quatix. The interaction with my iPhone is also better than I expected. I get incoming messages and calls displayed.
When sailing and cycling I can display a lot of information, but I haven't yet got around to using the full potential.
The battery life is great. After charging it shows a battery life of 16 days. That's about right.

Accessing the operating instructions via PC is complicated -
no PDF.
I would be happy to receive complete instructions.
Is that still possible?

If we're honest, we're all looking for a good smartwatch that's waterproof, looks good and offers lots of apps for the maritime sector. Then there’s the incredible battery life. A dream. The price is hefty. Since I am tall and strong, I chose the solar version with a diameter of 51mm.
What can I say. I wore the watch on my wrist for 1 hour, packed it up and sent it back.
The display is absolutely a disaster. Not only does it glow dimly. The colors are also very flat and not at all intense. I suspect that - even in the strongest display setting - you can no longer read the display properly when the weather is good and there is sun on the sea.
I was briefly inclined to buy the AMOLED version instead. But it's just too small for me. I'd rather stick with my Samsung. Even if it doesn't offer the great app features of quatix.
So dear Garmin team, the watch really picked me up. The knockout criterion is clearly the weak display. If you improve this, I'll be your customer again.

The watch is certainly very good, all the functions you need are there and easy to use after a short period of getting used to it. But the mechanical quality is not as good.. the wristband has already opened twice because the holder on the spring bar gave way. Garmin Support sucks or doesn't respond. As always, SVB delivery was very fast and everything was fine.
At least the Garmin experience saved me from switching from Raymarine to Garmin in the medium term.
