Two weeks after carrying out steps 1 and 2 and with the cover completely dry, the sealant is easily applied. You have to understand that it is not varnish. It is very liquid and spreads quickly, it is advisable to have a cloth on hand to clean spills that stain, I have used some very comfortable cleaning wipes.
