Better than the old model with A-battery
The problems of the previous model are gone, which is a significant improvement (the battery had to be additionally secured with tape, and the light would often switch on unintentionally). However, after a maximum of 5 years, it will only be fit for disposal, including the lithium battery.

Too bad about the limited lifespan
Good and simple installation in existing holder. Lifespan rather limited.

LED rescue light - alternative
I deduct one point because the rescue light only works in salt water. Checking the battery charge and function is a bit cumbersome. The size, including the mount, meets my expectations, as do the technical specifications.

Plastic disintegrates
Unfortunately, the plastic disintegrates after only 3 years; the whole lamp crumbles apart—it is not particularly UV stable.
