Easy operation and networking
Overall, a solid device that easily connected to a Nexus NS system via NMEA2000. Unfortunately, only C-Map maps are supported, which I find somewhat disappointing in retrospect.

Good sailing software - but that's about it.
I've had the Zeus S7 plotter for a couple of weeks now. The display gets incredibly hot during operation, sometimes so hot that I can hardly use the touch screen. Maybe I have particularly sensitive fingers. I think that's really awesome.
The app is completely useless in my opinion. Or I haven't discovered the benefit yet. The connection to the app is "shaky" and often breaks off. I also find the operating concept anything but intuitive. So all in all I wouldn't buy it again and I'm considering sending it back. I had expected a lot more from the app in particular. It's a shame because the sailing software itself is really good. But the Trito display is easily enough for that.

After a good year of disillusionment - overboard with the thing!
This is my 2nd review of the part that I bought in summer 23. It was supposed to be an investment in my Baltic Sea trip, but things turned out differently. Today, one day before I want to set sail on the Schlei, I replaced my plotter with a Raymarine Aixiom at the last minute (on a Sunday!). I was unable to update my nautical charts online. In addition, the exclusivity of the C-Map Discover charts turned out to be a showstopper because the well-stocked specialist retailers do not have these charts in stock. Not even SVB in Kiel. The nice man on the phone there couldn't believe that the Zeus S only uses these charts. That alone is now an exclusion criterion for me. The "conglomerate" of the various websites, especially the connection between C-Map and B&G, are completely opaque to me and the corresponding pages, especially the C-Map Manager, have been inaccessible for weeks. B&G's email hotline sent me a ticket for processing. I didn't hear anything after that.
In the end I decided to take the undoubtedly expensive step of changing the plotter at the last minute.
In my experience, the best thing about the B&G Zeus S, 7 inch is how easy it is to swap it for a Raymarine Axiom.
I wonder what's going on at B&G...
So my clear recommendation is to stay away from this thing.
It's a shame!
