perfect
The coupling socket with the plug is the perfect connection between the mast and deck for the wind measuring system. The cable is sealed properly and after a test with the Kärcher there was no water found in the can or under the deck.
I would buy again and again, value for money was right, delivery was quick and uncomplicated.

Unusable
Presented as suitable for connecting a wind vane, this product is unusable. The cable entry diameter is 11 mm, and maximum tightening does not ensure watertightness with a 4 mm cable (Raymarine weather vane). Normally, this type of product is delivered with several joints of different diameters, for example 4 to 8 mm, 6 to 10 mm and 8 to 12 mm.

A joint is then missing (see photo) and the plastic-to-plastic screwing is not waterproof.

The body length is excessive, making the device extremely vulnerable to tearing when plugged into the corresponding bridge socket.

Finally, the bridge socket (supplied separately), has a support span of approximately 3 mm, which is completely insufficient to ensure good sealing. It is also fixed by two 3 mm diameter screws, which is also insufficient. In addition, it is impossible to ensure sealing using a Sikaflex type seal, because it must remain removable to be able to access the connections, which are only 8 mm below the support surface (therefore impossible with a sandwhich bridge).

In short, a product with a completely unsuitable design.
