Good product BUT...

Same with the black switch - the rubber doesn't last so you have to buy a whole new switch just to replace the rubber casing. Also SVB only use UPS as their international courier service and UPS is terrible in Panama, South Africa and anywhere in the Caribbean so I am reticent to purchase from SVB again (who are amazing in their customer service) simply because of their preferred courier. I wish they would use Fedex or DHL express.

Good product BUT...

It is a good product but the actual rubber for the switch doesn't last and often perishes after about a year meaning you have to buy a whole new switch just to replace the rubber cover.
Also, unfortunately SVB only use UPS as their international courier and UPS are terrible in most countries except parts of Europe and America.

Produkt ist zwar recht einfach, funktioniert aber sehr gut.
Ob die Kontakte schnell korridieren wird man erst noch sehn.
Die Plastik-Klappen habe ich entfernt, somit schnellerer Einsatz für Anker in Not.

Leider erfüllen diese Fusstaster nicht meinen Qualitätsansprüchen. Die mäßige Qualität ist natürlich dem günstigen Preis geschuldet....teilweise werden sie schon für 10€ pro Stück angeboten. Sie erfüllen zunächst zwar ihren Zweck, werden aber bald gegen hochwertige von Lewmar ersetzt.

significant deficiency for the operation

The rubber on the switch is way too hard or stiff. Contact can only be made with a lot of finger strength
I disassembled the switch and adjusted the contacts closer. Ultimately it wasn't a success either.
In the meantime I have switched to Lewmar Deck Switch. A soft rubber is processed here.
Operation comfortable.

Function inadequate!

This item is not worth the money!
It shifts gears rarely and only with a lot of force and jerking. I took it apart and put solder points on it. Only insignificant improvement, no significant improvement achieved even with pole grease.
Looking around for quality switches and replacing both of mine asap.
I can only advise SVB to remove this crap from its range!
