Lightweight, clean
Delighted with this purchase. So much simpler to use compared to a combustion engine.
Lightweight, clean, and the power is sufficient if you don't go too fast.

amazingly quiet and light..
With our dinghy (Seatech 240 - manned by two people, 150 kg) - we reach a good 3.5 knots at full throttle.
The engine is barely audible, but it draws a lot of power - estimated travel time is approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
At approximately 25% power, we reach 2.2 to 2.4 knots - the possible travel time is certainly over 2 hours.
The easy installation and handling, as well as the low weight, make this motor the ideal drive for trips between the anchorage and the mainland.

Very easy to use
Accelerates a 3-meter catamaran (inflatable boat) easily up to hull speed. Amazingly long range.
Just don't try to exceed hull speed. Otherwise, the battery will drain in no time.

Use on small sailing boats
The handling, weight, and operation are excellent.

The battery is unfortunately permanently installed, but everything is compact and quickly assembled. Immediate response and rapid thrust reversal.

The only drawback is that the reverse gear is limited to 300 W. 500 W is possible forward, or up to 750 W for a short time in sport mode.

I use it on my 800 kg sailing keelboat in a calm inland lake. It's not really designed for that. But it's a good solution for mooring and unmooring in onshore winds. It also works as a pusher when the wind dies down in the evening.

It's also good that the mounting height can be flexibly adjusted to four different levels depending on the boat, and the telescopic tiller can also be locked at a 45-degree angle.

Top, the lightest solution for an outboard motor
Bought it, tried it out, and were thrilled! We chose this model for space and weight reasons, and we got a product that's easy to handle and, of course, powerful for its size. A great product. We'd be happy to order again, even through SVB!

Great for small dinghies!
I use this outboard motor to moor and unmoor my small dinghy (Ixylon, approx. 5.10 m long, 200 kg). The motor is ideal for getting back to the mooring even in calm conditions. The quality, weight, handling, and value for money are top-notch in my opinion, and I highly recommend the motor and SVB's customer service. Although I haven't done any long trips with it yet, the battery should last for about an hour of cruising (not at full throttle). When purchasing the motor, it's essential to measure the submersion depth beforehand and decide whether you need the model with the short or long shaft.

Perfect drive for the dinghy.
I was looking for a simple drive for my dinghy (EZ Raft). The eLite is perfectly lightweight, easy to install, and easy to transport with the carrying bag. The battery is permanently installed, which is a disadvantage on the one hand because there's no spare battery to take with you, but on the other hand, it makes the device compact and easy to handle. With the eLite, the dinghy reaches 3 to 4 knots. Perfectly sufficient for getting from the anchorage to shore. The battery lasts for about an hour. The motor is very quiet. I recommend buying the 12V charger at the same time, otherwise, things can get tight without shore power.

Small motor for the inflatable boat
Super light, easy to carry and get into the dinghy. At 28ft all other motors are difficult to stow, and for the short trips to and from shore the battery capacity is more than sufficient.

Top alternative to the petrol outboard motor
With this motor, our dinghy can reach speeds of 3.8 knots at the push of a button, without any loud noise or smell. The shape of the motor also gives a certain amount of rudder effect without thrust, but the biggest advantage is the weight - anyone can add 6 kg, even if the anchorage is a bit choppy.

Miss Elli is great
The little motor was quickly given the name "Miss Elli", in reference to Elite.

Runs cleanly and quietly, is easy to handle.
We have Miss Elli attached to a line and lowered it from the cockpit of our Etap into the dinghy. Plug in, switch on, and drive off. Twice from the anchorage to land and back, once with a good headwind and waves, are very good. When connected, 75% of the charge is still there.
Dock at the boat, lift up with Elli on the line, wipe dry once with a cloth, done.

We are very happy with the motor and are now happy to part with the previous outboard motor (heavy, an inspection every year, loud and annoying).

Perfect for short tours
Perfect for a quick trip to the beach and back in moderate conditions. It probably won't be quite enough to handle more wind and waves.
But it's quiet, easy to use and quiet. Extremely easy to transport. Perfect for me on the Croatian Adriatic.
