Since the 1200 W motor is no longer available, the 1500 W motor had to be used as a replacement.

Mechanical compatibility was okay, electrical compatibility was critical. Although stronger cables were installed for the 1500 W, measurements revealed that over 1800 W were required.

Motor quality, no idea. Logistics were a disaster; it arrived like bulk goods with crushed Sika tubes. No documentation or packaging at all.

Assembly/Installation. In coordination with SVB, the motor was replaced several times because the shaft wouldn't fit in the first place (ultimately my fault).

Value for money. Very accommodating with the Black Friday discount.

I'll order again. I hope it lasts forever now, so I don't have to ask myself that question anymore.

After 25 years, the original motor on my Leopard winch was defective. This motor fits and also has 300 watts more power. This saves the need for an exchange, great product, parts still available after such a long time.

Used for anchor winch, works fine

The replacement part is dimensionally accurate and easy to replace. However, the motor only runs in one direction on both buttons, which probably requires a different relay. The breakaway force seems (purely subjectively) to be lower, as does the recovery speed. This can only be assessed once the relay has been replaced and it is fully functional.
