Great help, attention to assembly

For lewmar42 1970s the size M is perfect. In my experience they help up to 1820 knots (at least with my 10 sheet).
The editing is all in all feasible if you follow the advice I give some youtube videos. Personally I suggest to put the wincher on the bell by reversing the rubber, bringing it as close as possible to the flange, and then turning the rubber back over.
Be careful to use screwdrivers or similar because the rubber must not be cut even very little because it is stressed by great pressure to adhere well

Satisfactory experience

This item performs beyond my expectations. I bought a pair of size S for my old Lewmar 16 wiches. It was quite hard to install them, but using hot water and a rope following the tutorial video we managed to install it. There were some reviews where they complained about it could not hold diameter 10 rope, but in my case it works perfectly. Even my jib-sheet is a tiny bit thicker than 10, I woud say it is 10.5 size with a cotton outer layer, but it cooperates well with the wicher. 100% recommended item!

I haven't had the parts in real use yet, but a "dry test" in winter storage shows that they do what they are intended for. The assembly was carried out on a 40 Andersen Classic and a Harken 32.2. By heating the rubbers for 5 minutes, I could assemble them with a little effort without any further aids. The top edge was brought into position with a "blunt" screwdriver. In the current new condition, the rubbers are visually appealing (gray) and grippy (soft), the UV bombardment will certainly work on it outdoors. No 5 points for the price-performance ratio, because the price for the equivalent of the goods seems a bit ambitious to me, but there is no alternative in the price range.
