I have just installed them on LEWMAR (24) winches with a 70 mm headstock diameter. No too much difficulty to install (soap) but to rinse and dry (otherwise it slips). I preferred to take size M for the listening size used. First efficient nav (10 - 15 knots), the blocking is done under the collar, the genoa sheet was not put on the cleat once, the sail adjustment has only one hand! These are not Selftailling but for the price it does the job ... TOP

Very satisfied - new lease of life for my winches!

Hello, I have fitted two Barient 21-33 (2-speed) winches and two Lewmar 42 winches with WINCHER size "L". The installation requires two people, it's more practical. Take care to heat the rings for ten minutes in very hot (not boiling!) Soapy water. I am VERY happy with my purchase - it works rather well in blocking jib and spinnaker sheets. In terms of price there is absolutely no picture - between 2,000 € for a pair of new ST winches at Lewmar, and 69 € for a pair of WINCHERs, there is no hesitation. Time will show the lifespan of the rubber for the wintering I covered the winches, and I inquire about a possible treatment to apply - silicone spray, talc or other). But again, even if the WINCHERS only make me 2 or 3 years old, the price is low enough to shamelessly replace them. An excellent product!
