Better with freshwater only

This is my second one of these as the previous one corroded through in various places after a year or so.

It is used as a saltwater rinse pump and unfortunately the aluminium is not really resistant to saltwater.

That said it does a good job and there are spares available for the seals.

According to the motto: The more electronics on board, the more can break, I opted for the replacement of a hand pump instead of an electric. Although the whale makes a solid impression, it is not as stable as the original part on board, which was partly made of metal some 30 years ago. For this, the new is double acting. Only 3 stars, because the price in my eyes is relatively high.

It rattles after 4 weeks of use, smells unpleasant, and washing both hands is impossible since you have to pump with one hand. A foot pump is the better option.
