Very quickly delivered good material

The existing Ankarolina was getting old. Their replacement after a heavy tensile load was announced. The metalwork is very clean. The roll diameter is close to the 50m version. Loosely rolling up is not tolerable.

We use the tape roll for stern anchors and buoy hooks. They are characterized by a clean workmanship. With our 50m tape, the roll should have a larger winding device. It has to be rolled up very tightly.

Shipped very quickly and delivered perfectly. After opening the cardboard box to find another box inside, I unpacked the product. The quality seems to go, good welds, oversized mounting bolts. I took this model for the breaking load of 4 tons, my boat does 5. It should hold. I just regret that the package was not accompanied by any assembly instructions. The sewn-in loop looks solid, the other side is no loop. A tip, make a few stitches with good thread to create another small loop to start winding by placing the new small loop on the tie-down hook before winding, do this after passing the strap through the guide. In any case, this last loop will not be able to hold your boat. Before the end of the unwinding, wedged the strap in a cleat provided for a mooring line.

After about 2 years, the webbing dissolves into its components, no UV resistance. Everything else is well made. If you buy a new one, make sure that the roller bag is made by the sailmaker and pull over.

Easy assembly and robust construction. If for this price, however, a better solution (self-sufficient mother) to adjust the easiness desired.

The construction is in order. The brake adjusting screw should be replaced by a wing nut or similar, so that the braking effect can be changed quickly.
