Cheap JABSCO replica, but...

the flush didn't work properly from the start. I couldn't find the cause of the problem until I got a replacement seal set from JABSCO (which also fits here). The valve seal for the toilet base was installed incorrectly! The part from JABSCO has three holes for the three tiny guide pins on the base, which makes it clear how it should be installed. The one from OCEAN has four, which means there are four installation options instead of one. Since it looks like the "weight belly" should be facing upwards on the exploded diagram, the shipyard and I installed the part like that. And that was the mistake. The belly should be facing downwards and the "hinge" towards the bowl.
Why this isn't described anywhere and why the OCEAN valve seal has one guide hole too many is a mystery to me. Now the toilet works perfectly.
