Die Dichtmasse an sich ist hervorragend und erfüllt ihren Zweck sehr gut. Wurde verwendet um Bohrlöcher im GFK-Rumpf abzudichten.\r\nAllerdings war die Tube als sie ankam bereits leicht eingetrocknet und der vorgesehene Aufrollmechanismus der Tube konnte daher nicht funktionieren. Die Masse kommt nun zu einem Loch seitlich in der Tube heraus, das mit einer Schraube (für einige Tage) wieder verschlossen wurde.

Das ist jetzt leider schon die zweite Tube, die so ausgehärtet ist,
daß die Tube platzt, bevor etwas aus der Spitze rauskommt.
Ich schicke also auch Diese wieder retour und bitte um schnellstmögliche Zusendung
einer 300ml Kartusche Nr.16701 (in der Hoffnung das das dann klappt ).
Letztes Jahr war die Qualität völlig in Ordnung und ich war zufrieden.

Bild täuscht.Tube und keine Karusche und leider oben eingedrocknet????!!!!

Zum Abdichten des Bootes von Außen.
Ich konnte leider nur mit großen Mühen der Tube etwas Dichtmasse nach dem Öffnen entnehmen.
Diese Dichtmasse war entweder überlagert, oder ???
Würde ich niemanden empfehlen und selbst nicht wieder kaufen.
Hätte am liebsten zurückgeschickt, aber der Aufwand war mir zu groß.
Übrigens täuscht das Bild, denn es ist eine Tube und leider keine Kartusche.

Out of date product

Bought this from SVB, used it to attach my Yanmar protective rubber boots around my saildrives. Followed the instructions diligently. Product failed within minutes of turning on the engines. Turns out the product was out of date but it was impossible to see that because SVB put one of their huge stickers over the "out of date" section!

The cartridge sealant sikaflex is a very good product. But the packaging in a small tube is totally ineffective because the sealant dries in the tip after the first use. Despite all the precautions, it was impossible to reuse it. It's a shame because it's really useful on board and it saves having the cartridge gun. The tip should be redesigned to avoid such waste.

Wrong choice

I wanted to order a 300 ml cartridge but I wrongly clicked on ref 17535 (instead of 16701) which is a 70 ml content only.
Price difference is small eur 9,95 instead of 7,95 .
This small content is useless for me but cost of shipping for return and change would be too high I presume?
