I treated the cast-iron keel with it. After removing the grate with a cup brush and angle grinder, brush application is easy and good. It reacts and forms the announced sticky surface. Then paint with the primer; that will be gray and firm. Then VCTar three times. Makes a good impression. After the season will show how well this structure works.

This rustproofing treatment has become unusable elsewhere and has the advantage of being particularly suitable for sailboat keels, because it supports the part of moisture often retained by old cast iron. Also extremely easy to apply.
