The seams turn out amazingly well after just a short amount of practice! Very robust, you can sew significantly stronger thread and significantly thicker layers of cloth with it than with a good household machine. It took a long time, but that was to be expected. Indispensable for smaller repairs on strong material (e.g. clew) and in inaccessible places.
