Der Festmacher ist für meine Begriffe sehr gebrauchsfreundlich konfektioniert. Die Länge und die Größe des "Auges" sind optimal gewählt. Auch das Material ist gut gewählt. Vielleicht könnte man über eine andere Fargebung nachdenken!?
Ich denke anstatt weiß wäre ein blau besser, da ein Verschmutzen der Leine (gerade beim vielen Schleusen) nicht ganz so auffällig ist.

Not very flexible

I've always used twisted rope for mooring lines and regret not having stuck with it. The Bavaria mooring lines may be a bit better in terms of feel and handling, and perhaps also in terms of abrasion resistance, but the flexibility and therefore the damping are far superior with traditional twisted rope. You easily need twice the length of the modern stuff to get the same damping, and that's at a significantly higher price.

Mooring

I wouldn't buy this line again. Our jetty has smooth boards and beams. Despite this, these lines obviously get caught on the smallest of spots and immediately pull threads. It looks very unsightly. I obviously saved money in the wrong place.
