For long-distance sailors like us, who drop the anchor almost every day, these things are no good, because they flew off the chain in large arches when the anchor was caught up for the fifth time. I went to the trouble of attaching all the clips, 2 of which could not be put together or could not be attached. I put 10 pieces of each color in a row for 10m, 20m, 30m, etc. Then the disappointment when using it: You hardly see the clips at all. Can you actually save? Not compatible with every chain

Obviously there are anchor chains for which the product is suitable. Otherwise there wouldn't be many good reviews. With my 10 mm chain it went like this: 1. It's super easy to assemble, great. 2. After the first down and up of the anchor about 25% of the markings were gone. I'm now starting a new experiment with neon-colored cable ties.

Not very satisfactory

I clipped 4 colored plugs between the links in my stainless steel chain. This process is relatively straightforward. The disappointment was great when after the second anchoring three clips at different points in the chain simply fell apart. Some ended up in the anchor locker, others in the sea. Conclusion for me absolutely not to be recommended. (The rubber markings were far better) sorry

Extremely expensive plastic waste

Easily attached to a 10mm DIN stainless steel chain .. Looks pretty at first. Flies out again after 4-5 anchor maneuvers. Great product for everyone who doesn't want anything too expensive to throw colorful plastic waste into nature. It is your own fault who buys this.
