UPS is useless
Hello,
With this message, I want to acknowledge, commend, and thank you for your high level of professionalism and responsiveness regarding my order.
I'm so glad you were there because, unfortunately, you are very poorly represented by your delivery company, UPS.
Indeed, I placed my order on March 26th and for delivery, I chose a pickup point on your website, the one offered by UPS, which is the convenience store near my home.
On the day my package was due to be delivered, I received a message from UPS stating that the recipient had not placed the order and had refused delivery, therefore it was being returned to sender.
Following this message, I immediately sent you an email to inform you that this was incorrect. Your excellent responsiveness meant that you promptly sent me a second package with my order.
Unfortunately, collecting this package was a real ordeal. The second delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, April 8th, between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
On the 7th, I received a message from UPS informing me that the truck was delayed and the delivery would be postponed by one day, so it was now scheduled for Thursday the 9th between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
On Thursday the 9th, the delivery time changed and was scheduled between 10:45 AM and 12:45 PM, then later in the afternoon, and then again between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
Finally, at the end of the day, I received a message from UPS informing me that my apartment number was missing or incorrect, which further delayed the delivery.
The next day, Friday, April 10th, I learned that my package could not be delivered and would therefore be taken to a UPS Access Point.
So, finally, it was on Saturday, April 11th, that I was able to pick up my order. In conclusion,
UPS could update its Pickup Points, as the one near my home is still listed among UPS's options. I checked today and, after consulting with the store manager, learned that they haven't worked with UPS for almost three months due to disagreements.
UPS could have, when delivering to my chosen Pickup Point, left the package at a different one or contacted me.
UPS has never attempted to contact me, neither by text message nor by phone.
Just messages on their website.
The address where I live has been my address for 26 years, and to this day, everyone has always found my home, including delivery drivers. For example, I had another delivery this week from a different company, and everything went smoothly.
It's strange that UPS can't seem to manage it.
Unfortunately, this image of amateurism greatly tarnishes your professionalism.
And I'm drawing conclusions for the future.
In any case, thank you again, SVB, for your responsiveness.
