Just so you know, if you need to have parts delivered for your boat to Brazil, for example, be sure to use a freight forwarder, otherwise, watch out for the taxes! We paid €180 for parts and €405 for taxes and shipping!!!!
It's a shame SVB doesn't take this into account. A simple, well-prepared transit file would have saved us at least €300 on shipping costs, and the boat flying a non-Brazilian flag could have been completely exempt!
