The item was delivered by road transport. It arrived just over two weeks after the order was placed, to Crete, in Greece. As Greece was on strike for several of the days, this was better than I expected. The carriers were, however, very good when it came to the actual delivery, and it was delivered within 5 minutes of the stated time, on a Saturday!\r\nThe manufacturers packaging needs to be added to, if road transport is to be used for delivery. Our new cooker arrived on a very second hand pallet, and had obviously been dropped or hit with a heavier item. All the screws holding the pillars for the pan rack were bent, and needed replacement and there was a crease in the back of the left hand side panel. The polystyrene packing has disintegrated at the point of impact, so didn\'t do the job! I managed to straighten the crease, with care! and replacing the screws straightened up the pan rack.
