have it installed on a sailing yacht ,halfway the mast.very easy to get going,works great,except in heavy rain.
sailed this spring from south of france to holland and had everywhere reception,at marinas you have to have an eye for a good location,as high buildings or tall ships can limit the reception.works very good at anchor in protected bays.
it surpassed my expectation indeed.
