Heater is as specified but not suitable for the UK market without changing the plug. The heater comes with a moulded two pin plug suitable for european mainland systems.
I should have realised this before ordering.
Perhaps the literature should spell this out.
Anyway, I am now using it and it is fine.

Ich bin mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden, es ist etwas gewöhnungsbedüftig was das Handling angeht aber wenn man sich daran gewöhnt hat klappt es gut, sowohl für seefunk als auch binnenfunk. NMEA Anschluss an das GPS - hier sich nicht verwirren lassen, die Anleitung sieht das TX und RX anders, also einfach mal die TX und RX wechseln und schon klappt es mit dem GPS. AIS funktioniert auch gut, Schiffe werden per Vektor angezeigt und die entsprechenden Infos wie Kurs, Speed, Position und Name werden angezeigt und es kann per DSC direkt mit dem jeweiligen Schiff Kontakt aufgenommen werden.
