Ein absolutes "Muss" für jeden, der auf sein Hand-GPS effektiv nutzen möchte. Ein Stromkabel alleine reicht nicht aus um NMEA-Daten an andere Geräte zu übermitteln - mittels diesen Strom- und Datenkabels aber klappt genau das wunderbar. Der Preis allerdings ist ganz schön heftig, aber der Anschlußstecker ist ansonsten nirgends erhältlich.

I bought the S100 for the Raymarine autopilot 1000. By default, the cables do not match. I had to cut a plug and connect the cable directly into the connector to the autopilot. That could be different. If the remote control is offered for autopilot, the part should fit together.

Vorsicht beim Marine-Pack: Das darin enthaltene Anschlußkabel ermöglicht KEINE NMEA-Verbindung! Ein entsprechendes Stromversorgungs- und Datenkabel MUSS separat erworben werden und ist im aktuellen Katalog NICHT aufgeführt! Auch verweist die Beschreibung auf eine Garmin-Software (MapSource) die es nicht mehr gibt. Die Alternative ist bei Garmin im Downloadbereich zu finden und heisst: BaseCamp. Generell würde ich sagen, das Gerät ist recht gut, aber Finger weg vom Marine-Pack, das ist sein Geld nicht wert.
