Thank you very much, Harale, for your detailed response. My Sirius is from 1993; I bought it three years ago, but I think it’s always been very well maintained. I’ll try to keep it at 2,200 rpm on long trips, knowing that’s roughly its maximum torque. I have a 3-blade folding propeller. Best regards

Thanks, Kari. I have a Sirius 31 DS, and at 2,200 rpm, the speed in calm waters can be 5.8 knots. At 1,800 rpm, it's about 4.8 knots. Greetings from the Balearic Islands, Spain

Check the cruising RPM for a 2003 Volvo B
Good morning, I'd like to know what sustained RPM the 2003B can handle without any issues. I’ve kept the engine in excellent condition—I just had the valves and fuel injectors adjusted and completed other routine maintenance—but I’ve always had my doubts about the RPM, so I usually don’t go over 1,800 RPM. From what I’ve read somewhere, 2,400 RPM is reasonable without causing any damage. Thanks
