Christian, I’d repair the motor too, rather than just buying a whole new boat to go with it. Yes, the individual parts are expensive—a single rubber mount for the motor block (you need four) costs around 160 € (each).
These days, we’re way too quick to buy new, throw things away, and stop repairing things…
As you already mentioned above, the MD 5 is practically indestructible. I have the same engine, and with proper maintenance, it runs flawlessly.
