Ideal as a pre-charge pump/booster pump for watermakers
The pump has now run for 50 hours as a pre-charge pump on the watermaker, and I'm very satisfied.
It's mounted at approximately seawater level and easily supplies the Cat 270 high-pressure pump without causing any cavity problems.
Even after an hour of continuous operation, it doesn't get noticeably hot.
Thanks to the check valve, which ensures that the system doesn't drain when changing the sediment filter, I avoid the potentially damaging priming process.
I would definitely buy it again.
