Well packaged. Well described as "ideal" in the website reviews... No luck for me, I pumped from bottom to top, the diesel rose about twelve centimeters in the hose, then lost its prime. Impossible to transfer the contents of my tank to a container! Perhaps a defect in the ball that lets the diesel flow back down.

Before ordering this pump, I read all the reviews and comments, which were all very favorable. This afternoon, I wanted to drain my boat's inboard engine. Unfortunately, I had a hell of a time getting 4 liters out, even though the crankcase holds 6. I had warmed up the engine thoroughly beforehand. Despite placing the pump at the same height as the crankcase, and despite the high vacuum achieved by pumping, the oil was too difficult to drain. I had to deprime the pump regularly to hear a suction noise. In short, I couldn't suck it all out. I was only able to add 4.5 liters of new oil, and the level was still too high. I had to pump it a little more to get it to the right level. So, very disappointed with this "marvel." Do you have a solution? I just bought a 1973 powerboat. The previous owner hadn't had the oil changed for about six years.
