assembly problems
I wanted to point out that during installation, I noticed that the "ULTRAFLEX plastic gas spring mounting plate" wasn't well-made. Once the "2-piece gas spring end cap" was inserted, the locking pin couldn't be inserted because it wasn't centered properly in the hole. The plate therefore needs to be filed along its outer edge. Otherwise, it won't fit.
