Someone forgot to mention in the product description that these types of induction hobs are generally very noisy, as the fan runs continuously from the first second and continues for 30-90 seconds after being switched off. It's a very annoying and constant noise while the appliance is cooking. I think the manufacturer, Sterling, hasn't been honest and omitted the noise level (in decibels) from the instruction manual (I checked it before buying). And rightly so; it would discourage many people from buying something so noisy. I simply ask that the buyer has the right to know what they are buying, and not discover it at home when the purchase arrives. The noise issue should have been mentioned in some way in the description or the instruction manual. On another note, the website says svb-marine.es, which suggests that the store and shipping are from Spain; however, it came from Bremen, Germany. So if I want to return the product now, I imagine the return shipping will be very expensive. In short, the website needs to improve its transparency if they want to ensure good customer service and avoid unpleasant surprises. I hope they take note and make changes to prevent situations like this from happening again. Regards
