Yep, unfortunately the wind is pulling the sail back up. Another tip was to keep both ends of the line under tension to prevent slipping. I'll try that at the next opportunity.

I was sailing close to the coast on the Adriatic these days with a bit of wind and had a lot of fun - until I tried to recover the foresail. The furler (still an original Dehler, i.e. a stay rider on the jib and a furler with an endless line below deck in the anchor locker) kept slipping. As soon as I'd managed to get three turns on it, the next gust of wind pulled everything up again, even though the endless line was tight. Do you have any tips? Am I doing something wrong? Or has the thing simply worn out? Any feedback would be most welcome, thank you! Best regards Stephan
