Hi Ralf, my Bavaria 30 C has a completely different solution for the mainsheet - the previous owner dismantled the cockpit table and attached a custom-made wooden plate to the base. This has several advantages: - the boat is absolutely suitable for single-handed sailing, you can also reach the mainsheet from the helm - you have more leverage on the boom and can haul the mainsail closer in strong winds - you have considerably more space in the cockpit under sail I am attaching pictures here, if you have any questions, just let me know
