Installation wasn't as easy as claimed. My 250 hp OB planer is somewhat more stable at slow speeds. BUT, it won't plane anymore. The coursekeeper won't fold up; the spring that supposedly adjusts it isn't adjustable at all for the average consumer. And even if it were, it creates a tremendous wake, and the boat gets stuck in a semi-planing position. I'm taking it apart again. It was an expensive mistake.
