Hi Jonathan, I replaced my throttle with this - Xtreme Top Mount Single-Lever Control without Trim, its been great and affordable, vovlo part was 3 times the price. Hope that helps!

Hi Bruno, Our plan this summer is to circumnavigate Sardinia as we finished the last season in Alghero and didn't get a chance to see more of the island. I've just returned from Alghero and I'll no be back until June for a week but we'll be onboard all of July, September and October. The cost at the moment without finding any other issues is 6k and that is to upgrade to sta-lok turnbuckles etc. The job is being completed next week I'll let you know how it goes!

Hi Bruno, my boat and rigging was the same age as yours and I to had the same worries. I've actually instructed a rigger to remove the mast and replace the rigging. I too am in Sardinia in Alghero, i'm using a company called ondablu mare. I'm replacing the original with sta-lok hardware so that next time I can do the job myself, which is what I originally wanted to do! If I can help any further let me know.

Can I ask did you replace the glass as well and if so where did you get the glass, mine has some crazing, I though it best if I was to remove the window I would replace everything? Also how did you remove the window, it the frame come off or is it a sealed unit?

Hi All, Does anyone have any experience with corrosion on the deck salon window frames, mine are starting to corrode badly and i'm worried about leaks. If anyone has had the same issue that have fixed it let me know.

Hi Bruno, I have the same age boat as you and I to am changing my standing rigging now. My understanding is that you don't have to remove the mast but it's best practice to check the mast pad, it also gives you an opportunity to replace lights, electricity cables, VHF antenna.
