This fuel level sensor is simply attached to the top of the tank and measures the fill level using radar. The incredibly easy installation is a major plus, as no drilling or installation is required. All that's needed is a connection to the NMEA2000 backbone. The connection cable is approximately 1 meter long. The sensor is calibrated via Bluetooth using a smartphone app. You can either enter the tank height and maximum fill level, or define any number of individual calibration points. This allows you to use even tanks with complex geometries.
