Jose Antonio, the spot I pointed out to you is where the Volvo alarm sensor goes. You can't get a signal from this sensor for an analog temperature gauge. To do that, you'd have to check the current thread on this sensor and find a compatible sensor-gauge set with the same thread; then you could install it.

Hi, Jose Antonio. The coolant temperature sensor is located behind the engine's diesel fuel filter on the starboard side of the engine in the 2030. It is threaded into the engine block.
